Lecture Workshop
Lecture Workshop Organized
By
Christ University Department of Chemistry In Association with Indian Academy of Sciences,Bangalore
‘Spectroscopy’
Chemistry aims to understand matter, create new forms of matter, and translate its new discoveries into useful products, as well as provide enabling technologies for other disciplines such as biology and medicine. Chemistry is indispensable as a science; it provides the ability to understand living systems at the molecular level. Spectroscopic analysis has been crucial in the development of the most fundamental theories in chemistry and physics. Spectroscopy, as applied to high-energy collisions, has been a key tool in developing scientific understanding not only of the electromagnetic force but also of the strong and weak nuclear forces.
The aim of this lecture workshop is to encapsulate the recent advances in different field of spectroscopy. Eminent Scientists, academicians and researchers like Prof. E. Arunan, Prof. S. Umapathy, Prof. S. Ramakrishnan, Prof. Anshu Pandey from IISc, Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana from JNCASR and Prof. Balaji Jayaprakash from Centre for Neuroscience will deliver invited lectures in the workshop. This will also be an aid for the future researchers in the facets of chemistry.
