On behalf of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, UK and the Ministry of Science and Technology, India, British Council- India and the Department of Biotechnology, India are pleased to invite applications for funding to support short-term PhD placements between the UK and Indian institutions. In India, the application is open to PhD scholars who have qualified any National level test and pursuing PhD in Biological and interface Sciences. Selection results announced by 15 February 2016
Placements to take place between April 2016 to December 2016
The application should be submitted by PhD student with endorsement from both the sending and receiving supervisors with the latter’s confirmation that they will host the PhD students; duration of the stay and level of bench fees they will charge.
Applications should include the statement of purpose.
