National Workshop on Botanical Identification and Evaluation of Indian Medicinal Plants

Taxonomic identification of medicinal plants is very much essential for proper

identity of the plant species, which helps to maintain the uniform chemical sanctity of

the secondary metabolites. The shifting paradigm towards chemo profiling of natural products is essential for drug discovery and development. The main focus of the workshop will be on the crucial and contemporary issues on identification of medicinal plants; so much so their evaluation on different aspects of taxonomical, phytochemical, pharmacological evaluation and others.
